QS - Quick Screenshot ("the Extension") is a browser extension that captures screenshots of your current browser tab. All processing happens locally on your device.

Data We Collect

The Extension stores the following data locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• User preferences: Your chosen save folder, filename pattern, and image format settings

This data is stored locally and synced via your Chrome account if you're signed into Chrome. We do not have access to this data.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect, transmit, or store your screenshots
• We do not track the websites you visit
• We do not collect any personal information
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not sell any data to third parties

How Screenshots Work

When you click the extension icon:

• The current tab is captured using Chrome's built-in screenshot API
• The image is saved directly to your Downloads folder (or your configured subfolder)
• No data is transmitted to any external server

Third-Party Services

The Extension connects to our supporters API to display the Billboard (supporter credits). This connection only fetches public supporter names and messages - no user data is sent.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
